If you are using wood skewers, soak them in water for an hour or so beforehand. Use ribeye or sirloin steak. Best results if you marinate the chicken and beef the night before. Look through the site for some different marinades. If you use chuck steak, you definitely need to marinate it.

  1. Slice up the seasoned meat and vegetables into big chunks and place onto skewers. Don't mix meats. Do one skewer for chicken and another for beef. Also do separate skewers for vegetables. They cook at different rates.
